On April 20, in Kharkiv's Nikolsky shopping center reopened German retailer's store New Yorker<\/strong>. This event caused a great deal of excitement among Kharkiv residents. In the morning, a long queue lined up outside the store. New Yorker employees had to limit the number of people who could be in the store at the same time. Local news outlets are full of photos and videos of crowds of people running to the New Yorker.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

The New Yorker store opened in Kharkiv after more than a year's break. In March 2022, a Russian missile hit the roof of the Nikolsky shopping center. Fortunately, none of the employees were injured, as everyone was in the underground parking lot when the missile hit. In June 2022, Nikolsky's management began to partially resume the mall's operations, opening the safest minus the first floor. The first and second floors of the complex were opened in September, the third floor in October, and the fourth floor in November. But major international players were in no hurry to return to the city.<\/p>\n

The first swallow was the opening of the Turkish brand LC Waikikki<\/strong> in December 2022. And finally, the New Yorker decided to resume operations. By the way, this is the first opening of a large European retail chain in Kharkiv since the beginning of the full-scale war.<\/p>\n

In March, SportLife reopened its fitness center on the fifth floor of our mall. And this is not the last big return to Kharkiv this spring. In May, we expect no less significant pleasant returns.
